Fair Trade products and practices ensure that the maker of the goods gets a living wage from the production of their output. Fair Trade Distributors throughout the world are willing to accept lower profits with the understanding that the producers of their products earn a decent living wage. People who purchase Fair Trade products do so with the understanding that they are helping the producers of the products live a decent life with a living wage. As a MySongStore artist, you are a part of global Fair Trade process.
Because of our belief in Fair Trade practices, at the end of every calendar year, 10% of all download profits will be donated to support open source and sustainable technologies. Furthermore, at the end of the year an additional 20% of all download profits will be distributed to MySongStore artists in proportion to their download revenue.
